The S5-R MF is a dedicated 13.56MHz Mifare reader. It supports NXP Mifare, Mifare Plus, DesFire, Mifare Pro, Mifare UltraLight, Mifare Class 4K, NFC and CPU cards. It does not read 125KHz EM or HID cards.

2. Is the S5-R MF suitable for outdoor installation?

Yes. Its metal anti-vandal case carries an IP67 waterproof rating, and it supports external LED and buzzer control, making it suitable for outdoor doors and harsh environments.
