1. Can I connect multiple OSDP readers to one controller port?
A: Yes. OSDP supports multi-drop configurations:
Maximum 2 readers per RS-485 port on most controllers
Readers are paired as Primary and Secondary sharing the same door
Each reader requires a unique OSDP address
Both readers control the same lock, REX, and door contact
Example: 4 OSDP readers on one sub-controller:
Reader port 1: Address 0 (In), Address 2 (Out/Secondary)
Reader port 2: Address 1 (In), Address 3 (Out/Secondary)
2. What baud rates of this OSDP Keypad reader can support?
This readder can set baud rate with 4800, 9600, 14400, 19200, 38400, 56000, 57600, 115200, 128000.
