How Does a Fingerprint Access Control System Work?
The fingerprint access control system works in two main phases: enrollment and verification.
- Fingerprint Enrollment
Take our fingerprint access control CF1 as example, it scans a fingerprint, mapping unique patterns of ridges and valleys, then converts these physical features into a digital template (not an image) and stores it securely.
- Fingerprint Verification
When a user places their finger on the CF1's scanner, our CF1 captures a new scan and compares it to the stored templates. If the data matches an authorized user, the system triggers a relay to unlock a door, gate, or safe.
